Individuals seeking supervision for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania can inquire about this as a service. Individual supervision is offered once per week over a telehealth platform, or as contracted on an individual basis. Training & Consulting
Abra McClure Kuniak, MSCP, LPC is experienced with providing training services focused on suicide prevention and awareness, for communities and professionals. She has a passion for helping professionals feel confident in their assessment skills, as well as utilizing community systems efficiently. Abra has specific training in QPR (Question Persuade Refer) including having completed the train-the-trainer component as a QPR Gatekeeper, CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management), and DCORT (Disaster Crisis Outreach and Refer Team). During her time spent as the Team Lead (assistant manager) of a Pennsylvania county crisis intervention program, she was also on the county’s DCORT team. All of these certifications are designed to help mental health professionals respond within the community to reduce the rate of suicide and trauma symptoms associated with impactful events. Abby is currently part of Westmoreland County’s Suicide Task Force, Ray of Hope, and is a past member of the county L.O.S.S. Team. She is also an active member of Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA) having served in the past as Awards Chair, and is a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Counseling Association (GPCA) where she serves as the regional chair for Westmoreland and is the current president.
Abra also has experience with gender affirming care, as well as working with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. She is a board member of Metamorphosis begins, and a member of PFLAG Greensburg. Abra is also a member of Pennsylvania Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (PS-SAIGE), a division of PCA.
